The Pahalgam terror attack took place on Tuesday evening when militants opened fire on a group of tourists in Baisaran, killing 26 civilians and injuring 10 others.
Hours after the terror attack, The Resistance Front (TRF), a shadow outfit of the banned Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba terror group, claimed responsibility for it.
Initial probe on the Pahalgam attacks indicate that the number of terrorists who carried out the massacre could range from five to seven, and were likely aided by two locals who trained in Pakistan.
