A fire broke out at Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Ahmedabad office, said an official on Friday, as quoted by news agency PTI . Five fire tenders have been rushed to the spot.
The fire broke in ISRO’s Space Application Centre, the official said.
The fire was doused and brought under control within an hour said Chief Fire Officer M F Dastur. He further added that of the five tenders, only one was used.
“The fire started in a store room in the SAC campus Friday morning. Only some old books got burnt in the incident. The fire was brought under control within one hour,” he said.
