Indian Railways’ ticket booking, cancellation and six other services will remain suspended for two hours on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in the Delhi-NCR region due to scheduled maintenance work. In a release, Northern Railway stated that the Delhi PRS will remain down for approximately two hours on November 2, 2025, from 12:05 a.m. to 2:05 a.m. due to scheduled maintenance.
Speaking to IndianExpress.com, a senior railway official said that during the PRS downtime, services such as internet ticket booking and ticket cancellation will remain unavailable. “No internet ticket booking or ticket cancellation can be done during the two-hour window,” the official said.

The Delhi PRS services will remain shut for two hours on October 2 due to shifting of Old Core Switches to the New Core Switches. Thus, from 00:05 hrs to 02:05 hrs, following services of the PRS application for the Delhi site will not be available:

Meanwhile, Northern Railway has proposed the construction of a 2-lane Road Over Bridge (ROB) in Moradabad Division for the safety of road users. The project is proposed at a cost of Rs 106.1502 cr on a cost-sharing basis between the Railway (Rs 26.7854 cr) and the State (Rs 79.3648 cr).
“For the safety of road users Northern Railway has proposed the construction of a 2-lane Road Over Bridge (ROB) in lieu of Level Crossing No. 386/C and a 3m wide Foot Over Bridge (FOB) in lieu of Level Crossing No. 385/B in Milak Yard between Milak-Patwai Road under Tehsil Milak of District Rampur in Moradabad division of Northern Railway on the Moradabad-Lucknow section,” the NR said in a statement.
