An ‘orange’ alert has been issued for Tuesday, indicating heavy to very heavy rainfall, while a ‘yellow’ alert is in place for Wednesday.

Over the past three days, the downpour in coastal Karnataka has resulted in damages to property in parts of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts. The current spell of showers comes after a break in monsoon rainfall during the past week.
