After his infamous ‘dog remark’ during actor Salman Khan’s hearing in the 2002 hit-and-run case, singer Abhijeet hit a new low with an abusive tweet targetting Prashant Bhushan for being part of a team of lawyers which had moved a late night petition seeking stay on Yakub Memon’s hanging.
Yakub, the lone 1993 Mumbai serial blasts convict whose death sentence was upheld by the Supreme Court, was hanged on Thursday.
In a vitriolic tweet, Abhijeet posted, “Prashant bhushan ko fata hua sasta joota marunga (mine is costly) uski dead body par, Camera ready rakhna.”

Bhushan was at the forefront of the campagin for staying Yakub Memon’s hanging after his conviction in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case.
