Vajpayee donates books to Prini high school in Manali

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has donated some books to a government school in Prini village in Manali,where he has a house.

Vajpayee’s adopted daughter Namita Bhattacharya on Tuesday handed over the books to the staff of the Government High School,Prini.

In a letter to the veteran BJP leader,residents of the village,including the school staff,thanked him for his love and concern and prayed for his good health,Prini Panchayat Head Kundan Thakur said.

Vajpayee has a house in Prini,which he used to visit every year until recently before falling ill.
