A major tragedy was averted on Thursday when security forces detected and defused a landmine at Indo-Pak border in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir,official sources said. The landmine was detected in an agriculture land near the border village,Regal,in Samba district early on Thursday,they said,adding that the landmine was later defused by the BSF personnel.
