SRK’s driver held for ‘raping’ domestic help

According to the victim, Mishra had met her through a security guard at the building where she worked as a domestic help. Mishra, who is the actor’s driver for seven years, had allegedly promised her a job at Shah Rukh’s house and a better pay, besides contacts where she could work.

Officials at Bandra police station said that on June 20 Mishra called the woman, who belongs to Latur, and took her on a ride on the pretext of introducing her to people who might offer her domestic work.  The maid, in her complaint said, that Pintu raped her at a lodge in Nalasopara and threatened her not to reveal the episode to anyone.
