Sonia’s election rallies in Arunachal Pradesh cancelled

Earlier on October 6,Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi also had to cancel his election rally here as his helicopter failed to take off from Lilabari airport in neighbouring Assam due to bad weather.

Tuki and Khandu said the cancellation of rallies by the Gandhis would not affect the prospects of the ruling Congress in the October 13 elections to the 60-member state assembly.
