Rashtriya Janata Dal strongly condemned former BJP chief Rajnath Singh’s statement on the recommendations of the Ranganath Mishra Commission and urged the Centre its immediate implementation.

Rashtriya Janata Dal today strongly condemned former BJP chief Rajnath Singh’s statement on the recommendations of the Ranganath Mishra Commission and urged the Centre its immediate implementation.

Party spokesman Shakeel Ahmed Khan and General Secretary Ramkripal Yadav said the RJD “strongly condemns the statement of former BJP chief cautioning the Centre against implementing the recommendations of Ranganath Mishra Commission.” The implementation of the commission’s recommendation would rather strengthen the country’s unity and integrity,Khan said.

He said it in reference to Singh’s statement that the implementing the Ranganath Mishra Commission’s recommendation would promote religious conversion, which eventually posed threat to unity and integrity of the country.

The Centre should outrightly reject Singh’s overture as the report was in the national interest,he added.
