Rahul Gandhis Mumbai visit on May 27-28 has been postponed. Although it is being attributed to the Yavatmal by-election on June 2,for which Congress leaders in the state would be busy,sources said differences within the Congress state unit could be the actual reason.

Gandhis visit was part of his state tour to interact with the party organisation ahead of the 2014 general elections.

However,sources said,some sections in the party felt it would provide an opportunity to disgruntled elements to make noises against Chavan.
