Mumbai to host international furniture fair from Nov 16

About 100 companies and brands from leading furniture names from around the world are participating in the trade show.

MP International Pte Ltd & International Furniture Fair Singapore Pte Ltd (IFFS) will organise the India International Furniture Fair (IIFF) in Mumbai from November 16-18.

About 100 companies and brands from leading furniture names from around the world are participating in the trade show. It will also feature country pavilions,with over 70 per cent of the exhibitors coming from China,France,Italy,Malaysia,Singapore and Spain.

Renowned Spanish furniture designer,Amparo Munoz,will open the first day’s seminar,giving an overview on aesthetics in global furniture design. Industry experts like Kalhan Mattoo,principal architect of Planet 3 Studios,and Rajeev Ramprakash,head of design strategy of Godrej Properties,are also scheduled to speak in the event and give insights to the emerging design trends and taste preferences of India’s urban generation.

India’s strong demand for high-end furniture and furnishings have attracted the organisers of Asia’s largest furniture show to launch its trade show in Mumbai.
