J-K coalition government is anti-farmers: CPI-M

The govt is discriminating against farmers, who have been facing all types of problems from getting fertilisers to marketing: Rakesh.

Accusing the National Conference-led coalition government of being “anti-farmer and anti-youth”,CPI-M today demanded a policy that benefits farmers in Jammu and Kashmir.

“The government is discriminating against farmers, who have been facing all types of problems from getting fertilisers to marketing,” CPI-M leader Rakesh Kumar said.

Kumar earlier led a demonstration in R S Pura Border town of Jammu district against the state government’s new recruitment policy, saying it would create unrest among

youths.

As per the new education policy,a new recruit in government service will get only 50 per cent of the basic pay as salary for first two years and 75 per cent for next three years.
