A 32-year-old woman was killed allegedly by her in-laws over dowry in Sirohi village here, police said today. According to a complaint filed by the victim's father, the woman was killed yesterday by her husband and in-laws. [related-post] Police said the woman, who was married to Azharuddin in 2010, was subjected to physical and mental torture by her in-laws who demanded dowry from her. A case has been registered against three persons, including the victim's husband, under relevant sections of the IPC, SHO Inspector Saifuddin said, adding, the matter is being investigated.
