A Hizbul Mujahideen militant was arrested and large quantity of arms and ammunition was seized in J-K.

A Hizbul Mujahideen militant was arrested on Thursday and large quantity of arms and ammunition was seized in Jammu and Kashmir,a police spokesman said.

Hilal Ahmad Palla was arrested by a joint search party of police and CRPF from Nihalpora in Pattan,30 kms from here,in Baramulla district on Srinagar-Baramulla National highway.

One AK 47 rifle,two magazines,60 rounds,an Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) with 17 rounds,five detonators and a radio set were recovered at his instance from his house in Dangerpora village in Budgam district,the spokesman said.
