BJP MP Hema Malini, who was involved in a car crash in Rajasthan last week and was criticised for leaving the spot alone without taking other injured persons to hospital, has lashed out at the media.
The 66-year-old BJP MP, who had returned to Mumbai after getting herself treated in a Jaipur hospital, criticised the “sensation-hungry media” on twitter.
As for the sensation-hungry media & a few members of the public who had a field day maligning me even when I was helpless &in deep trauma..

“As for the sensation-hungry media and a few members of the public, who had a field day maligning me even when I was helpless and in deep trauma who actually and unbelievably stooped to the lowest level of human decency, I can only say ‘Shame on U’ and ‘God Bless’,” she tweeted.
Hema had been criticised for leaving the site of the accident in Dausa after her speeding Mercedes hit a Alto, without reaching out to the victims of the accident.
A two-year-old girl was killed while the victim’s family members were injured in the mishap on July 2 and have been hospitalised.
