Ex-Rajya Sabha MP’s son found dead

Former BJP Rajya Sabha member Narayansingh Kesri’s son Pritam Singh was found dead at his residence here, police said Monday. Pritam, 57, lived with his family at Subhash Marg locality. “We have come to know that he was a habitual drinker,” police said. On Sunday afternoon, Pritam fell sick apparently after consuming liquor. He was made to rest in a room on the fourth floor of the house. At night, the family members found him unresponsive and informed the police, an officer said. Pritam was rushed to the government-run Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital where doctors declared him dead, Ratnakar said.
