Meanwhile,Senior Superintendent of Police of Ghaziabad,Dharmendra Yadav,on Tuesday met Kejriwal at his residence and said that the AAP leader refused to take any security cover.
Kejriwal has already vowed to end the VIP culture like having cars fitted with red beacons. Kejriwal had been saying that he or his party MLAs would not take security cover, bunglow or cars fitted with red beacon after coming to power. On Monday, the AAP leader had refused to take security cover offered by Delhi Police, saying “God” provides him security.
The ministers in Kejriwal’s cabinet may also not accept government bungalows entitled to them and and are likely to prefer to stay in government flats following their leader’s footstep.
The Delhi government ministers are entitled to Type six or Type seven bungalows having three-bedrooms. Sheila Dikshit has been staying at a Type 8 bungalow on 3 Motilal Nehru Marg in Lutyens Delhi since 2003.
