Residents of Gurgaon can hope to enjoy the comforts of Metro services soon as the Delhi Metro today announced that it will start trial runs in this satellite township this month-end. The trial runs for the Metro section commencing from Gurgaon will start on January 29,a Delhi Metro spokesperson said. The inauguration of the trial run will be carried out between the HUDA City Centre Metro Station and the Sultanpur Metro Station in the presence of Urban Development Minister S Jaipal Reddy and Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, the spokesperson said. The first trial Metro train will be flagged-off from the HUDA City Centre Metro Station. The trial runs on this section will cover a distance of approximately 11 kms covering the metro stations of HUDA City Centre,IFFCO Chowk,M G Road,Sikandarpur,Guru Dronacharya,Arjangarh,Ghitorni and Sultanpur.
