CPI-Ms silence on allegations of irregularities in voters lists ahead of November 7 Kannur assembly bypoll could be viewed as a confession of the ruling party,Opposition leader Oommen Chandy alleged on Tuesday.
CPI-M had violated the model code by enlisting bogus voters,he alleged at a meet-the-press programme here.
The opposition UDF has initiated legal steps to expose those linked to the irregularities in voters lists as the matter is a serious one, Chandy,here to attend series of election meetings in the constituency,said.
On the failure of talks with striking medical college teachers who are protesting the move to ban private practice,Chandy blamed the Left Front Government for not convening an all party meeting to sort out the issue.
CPI-M ruled West Bengal had banned private practice of medical college doctors but government had later retracted its decision,he said.
