Cong will win 110-120 seats in MP,BJP around 90: Digvijay

If he had done anything wrong,the law would take its own course,Digvijay said on being asked on Tehelka editor.

Congress general secretary digvijay-singh Tuesday expressed confidence that his party will win 110 to 120 seats,while the ruling BJP will manage to win only 85-90 seats in the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections held yesterday.

“Congress will win 110 to 120 seats,while BJP will get only 85-90 seats,” Singh told reporters here on his way to New Delhi.

“As per my estimate,Samajwadi Party will get three to five seats,while the BSP will win five to seven seats,” he said.

Targeting AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal amid questions being raised over his party’s source of funding,the senior Congress leader said,”I was always of the view that the AAP leader is a professional and this had been proved true.”

Singh said that though he had decided not to contest elections for ten years,that period is about to end.

“If the party allows me to do so I will contest the Lok Sabha elections. But even if I do not contest,I will continue to fight against the BJP and fundamentalist forces in the country,” Singh said.

When asked about Tehelka editor Tarun Tejpal,accused of sexually assaulting a woman journalist,Singh said if he (Tejpal) had done anything wrong,the law would take its own course.
