CJ of Orissa HC retires after only 3 days in office

“The CJ disposed about 100 cases on his last day of work. Though he was interested to dispose more cases,the officials could not make all the documents ready,” a court official said.

While Justice Nazki was the Chief Justice of Orissa High Court for only four days,Justice G K Mishra was the longest serving Chief Justice of the court,sources said.

As Justice Nazki retires from Orissa,he will be entitled to get retirement benefits from the state.

Justice Nazki was likely to be appointed as the Chairman of the State Human Rights Commission in Jammu and Kashmir.
