PM Narendra Modi, Obama to share thoughts on ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio address

The Prime Minister also tweeted a link to an open forum for people to post their questions.

The next episode of “Mann ki Baat” on All-India Radio will have Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Obama sharing their thoughts together. The programme will be aired on January 27.

“This month’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode will be a special one, where our Republic Day guest President Barack Obama and I will share our thoughts together. I am eagerly looking forward to the special ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme with President Barack Obama, which will be aired on 27th January,” the PM tweeted.

He also invited people to post their questions using #AskObamaModi till January 25.

He added that the questions can also be posted on the MyGov platform. It may be recalled that both Modi and Obama had written a joint Op-Ed in an American newspaper when the Indian Prime Minister visited the US in September.

 

President Barack Obama will arrive in India on Sunday for a three-day visit and will become the first American President to be the Chief Guest of Honour for the Republic Day ceremony.
