More than 10 lakh devotees are expected to participate in the week-long event of 'Kartik Purnima Mela' starting from November 14 in Ayodhya,officials said today.

More than 10 lakh devotees are expected to participate in the week-long event of ‘Kartik Purnima Mela’ starting from November 14 in Ayodhya,officials said today.

Administration and police are busy chalking plans to ensure the event passes off peacefully as more than 10 lakh devotees are expected to take part in it,they added.

Administrative officers from different government departments have been deputed in a team headed by additional district magistrate and mela officer Shrikant Mishra.

All arrangements are being made to provide security to the devotees,Faizabad SP (City),Anil Rai,in charge of mela security said.
