Youth Cong workers arrested for waiving black flag at PM Modi

Youth Congress activists were protesting the exclusion of Chandy from the statue unveiling function.

Four Youth Congress activists were on Tuesday arrested in Kollam for waiving black flags at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s motorcade this evening in protest against exclusion of Chief Minister Ommen Chandy from a statue unveiling function.

As the PM’s motorcade was reaching the venue of a function where Modi later unveiled the statue of former chief minister R Sankar, the YC workers managed to wave the black flags and also released in air some balloons tied with black flags despite the presence of police personnel in large numbers.
