Two persons were arrested on Saturday for allegedly smuggling 190 kg of dry cannabis in an ambulance in Vishakhapatnam, excise officials said.
Accused M Venkatraju and G Adinarayana were apprehended by officials of the Prohibition and Excise department while they were transporting the contraband in an ambulance belonging to a primary healthcare centre, Narsipatnam Excise Inspector BVG Raju said.

A case under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act was registered, Raju said.
