The CBI sought permission from a special CBI court on Thursday to interrogate Indrani Mukerjea, Sanjeev Khanna and Shyamwar Rai with regard to conversations between the trio before the alleged murder of Sheena Bora in 2012. Thursday was the first hearing of the case at the city Civil and Sessions Court after the agency had last month filed a chargesheet against the three accused. Stating that it had received a forensic report of video conversations between the trio, the agency sought permission to interrogate the accused for a period of three weeks. CBI court judge H S Mahajan, however, said that he would pass an order on December 7. The accused also filed an application before the court for permission to access statements recorded by prosecution witness. An order on that application is also likely to be passed by the court on December 7. All three accused were remanded to judicial custody until December 17.
