LTC scam: JD(U) MP Anil Sahani tells party he fights against graft
Anil Sahani, 53, faces prosecution by the CBI for forging e-tickets and boarding passes to claim the money.

Booked by CBI for faking air tickets to make a bogus claim of Rs 23 lakh as travel and dearness allowan-ce, Janata Dal (United) Rajya Sabha member Anil Sahani has told his party that he is, in fact, a campaigner against corruption.
“I am innocent”, Sahani has maintained in his reply to the showcause notice served on him by JD(U) parliamentary party leader Sharad Yadav. He has said that the allegations against him are “far from the truth”.

Anil Sahani, 53, faces prosecution by the CBI for forging e-tickets and boarding passes to claim the money. Vice-President and RS Chairman Hamid Ansari has already given his sanction to the CBI to go ahead with the prosecution in what has come to be known as the “LTC scam”.
