Actor turned politician Kirron Kher on Tuesday lashed out at JNU students union president Kanhaiya Kumar for saying that there was a difference between the 1984 anti-Sikh riots and the 2002 Gujarat riots. In a series of tweets, the BJP MP called Kanhaiya's statement disgraceful and asked if his conscience is dead. During Emergency, goons of only one party were engaged into goondaism, in this (fascism) entire state machinery is resorting to goondaism. There is a difference between riots of 2002 and 1984 Sikh riots."
