A group of environmentalists have written to Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa demanding release of Piyush Sethia, a 40-year-old environmentalist, from Salem prison. Piyush and two others were arrested on July 8 during a protest against railway authorities starting construction of a gate overbridge without informing public or making provision for an alternative road.
