I am not aware of what Sanjeev Balyanji has said about my visit. But I am a disciplined soldier of the party and I work for the interest of the BJP wherever I go.

What is your view on Dadri killing?

It was a simple murder there and should be viewed as such. Murders do take place in UP everyday and it is wrong to judge whether a Hindu has been killed or a Muslim. But the Akhilesh government is trying to give the Dadri incident a communal colour. As far as the cow slaughter incident is concerned, it should be probed and the guilty should not be spared.

CM Akhilesh Yadav has given Rs 45 lakh to the family of Akhlaq and has also assured two government jobs to the family members. Your party has accused the state government of appeasing a particular community.

I have no objection to the CM giving such a huge sum as compensation. But I want to ask why the government differentiates when it comes to giving compensation to a Hindu family in any incident? The CM himself had gone to give Rs 20 lakh compensation to the family of killed Kunda DSP Zia-Ul-Haque and also assured a government job to one person. But he did not care to go to the funeral of Varanasi Deputy Jailor Anil Tyagi when he was cremated in Meerut… His family got a compensation of Rs 10 lakh but no government job. Were they not part of the same police force? Is this not appeasement?

This is true. The Samajwadi Party has propped up Azam Khan to create a rift between the two communities. He is an aged man now and has a habit of making insane statements.

What prompted Azam Khan to seek intervention of the UN in the Dadri issue? Are not we capable of handling affairs of own home?
