Bihar: Case against Jitan Ram Manjhi’s daughter

A CASE was lodged on Sunday against Gaya ward councillor Sunaina Devi, daughter of former Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, in connection with the disappearance of her daughter-in-law Soni Devi two days ago.

Soni’s father lodged a case against Sunaina Devi and six others, alleging that he fears his daughter might have been killed.

Sunaina Devi alleged that she had been trying to lodge a police complaint about her missing daughter-in-law without success but instead she has been made an accused.

Meanwhile, HAM (S) spokesperson Danish Rizwan said: “It is nothing but an act of political vendetta. It is a conspiracy against a Dalit leader.”
