Gurgaon, Faridabad Election Results 2024 Highlights: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured a massive victory in Gurgaon and Faridabad assembly constituencies -- Independent candidate Naveen Goyal lost to BJP's Mukesh Sharma by 1,22,615 votes in Gurgaon, Vipul Goel defeated Congress candidate Lakhan Kumar Singla by 93,651 votes and Congress candidate Neeraj Sharma lost to Satish Kumar Phagna by 91,992 votes in Faridabad (NIT). Overall, in Haryana, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 48 seats, while the Congress managed to secure 37 seats and the INLD won 2 seats, according to ECI. While exit polls predict a return to power for the Congress party after a decade, the incumbent BJP has rejected these forecasts, hoping to secure a hat-trick in the state assembly polls.
