‘Teachers of India and Pakistan can help improve relations’

“We got to learn a lot from India and this campaign is good for progress and peace of both the nations… Teacher-student exchange programme is the best way of interaction as teacher creates a nation’s future and if students of both the nations meet each other,they will have a different viewpoint about themselves,” a trustee of Sanjaan Nagar Public school in Lahore,Bayla Raza Jameel said.

Pakistan also celebrates September 5 as Teachers’ Day and honour its teachers with prestigious awards in the name of the former Education Minister of Pakistan Prof Anita Ghulam Ali,he said.

“There was not much of a difference among children of the two nations. Nobody can spread the message of love and brotherhood better than children,” Principal of the school,Faiza Sharukh said,adding “when we sit together we can understand each other better and bridge the gap created by politicians.”

Principal of Millennium Public school at Noida,Reeta Kaul said,”Our 10 students have received Pakistan visa and through this programme we have started thinking positively towards education.”
