AP govt constructs 1068 buildings to improve education

Andhra's CM said the state wanted to bring children of school-going age back to school.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy said that the state government has constructed 1068 school buildings at the cost of Rs 35 lakhs each.

Reddy,while inaugurating the JNNURM Complex on Tuesday,said the state government constructed the pucca buildings for the schools to improve the prevailing conditions in government-run schools and particularly in rural areas.

Reddy also said that the state government wanted to improve the literacy rate by bringing the children of school-going age to schools.
