Nowcast weather warning issued: IMD issued a nowcast warning for Delhi-NCR stating, “Light to moderate rainfall accompanied with light thunderstorm and lightning (30-40 Km/h gusty winds) is likely to occur at entire Delhi and NCR, Narwana, Fatehabad, Barwala, Jind, Adampur, Hissar, Gohana, Gannaur, Hansi, Siwani, Meham, Sonipat, Tosham.”
Satisfactory air quality: The national capital recorded ‘satisfactory’ air quality for the eleventh consecutive day, making it the longest spell of clean city air this year so far.
Delhi Rains Live Update: IMD predicted generally cloudy sky in the national capital, with light to moderate rain accompanied with thunderstorm/lightning during next three days and very light to light rain thereafter.
The maximum temperatures were in the range of 33-35°C and minimum temperatures in the range of 22-24°C respectively.
"The minimum temperatures are markedly below normal by 2-5°C and maximum temperatures are below normal by 1-4°C over Delhi," said IMD.
Delhi Rains Live Update: Heavy rain briefly disrupted flight schedules at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, prompting IndiGo to issue a travel advisory.
The low-cost carrier urged passengers to check flight status before leaving for the airport and also allow extra travel time due to slow-moving traffic.
"It’s raining steadily in #delhi, and the persistent weather is affecting flight operations. Due to air traffic congestion, some flights are currently being held. Please be assured, our teams are working closely with air traffic control and will get you moving as soon as conditions allow," IndiGo said in a post on X.

Delhi Rains Live Update: The India Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert for Delhi-NCR, predicting thunderstorms and light rains in the region.
IMD, on Sunday, said that the monsoon trough at mean sea level currently passes through Suratgarh, Sirsa, Delhi, Lucknow, Varanasi, Daltonganj, Bankura, Digha, and southeastwards to northeast Bay of Bengal. Additionally, an upper air cyclonic circulation lies over Himachal Pradesh and adjoining Punjab at 1.5 km above mean sea level.

Delhi Rains Live Update: The national capital on Sunday recorded a minimum temperature of 28.8 degrees Celsius, 0.8 degrees below the season's average, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The IMD has issued a yellow alert for the city, forecasting thunder and lightning accompanied by light rain.
The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 33 degrees Celsius.
Relative humidity was recorded at 80 per cent at 8:30 a.m.
The air quality was recorded in the 'satisfactory' category at 9 a.m. on Sunday, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) reading of 82, Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data showed.
According to the CPCB, an AQI between 0 and 50 is considered 'good', 51 to 100 'satisfactory', 101 to 200 'moderate', 201 to 300 'poor', 301 to 400 'very poor', and 401 to 500 'severe'. - (PTI)
Delhi Rains Live Update: In the longest spell of clean air this year, Delhi’s air quality index (AQI) remained in the “satisfactory” category for the tenth consecutive day on Saturday.
The AQI was recorded at 89, a slight increase from 78 the previous day. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), AQI, between 51 and 100, falls within the “satisfactory” range.
Light rainfall was recorded in several parts of the Capital, with the Safdarjung observatory —considered the city’s representative station —logging 1.8 mm. Palam received 2.6 mm of rain, SPS Mayur Vihar 0.5 mm, and Pragati Maidan 0.1 mm, while Lodhi Road reported trace rainfall. In the NCR, Gurgaon recorded 3 mm and Faridabad 0.5 mm. The normal rainfall for the month, based on the long-period average, is 23.3 mm.
