A family belonging to Scheduled Caste has alleged that their 17-year-old daughter was sexually exploited at her school,after she delivered a baby at Guddli village in the district,police said. The family claimed that they were unaware that their daughter,who studied in class VII,was pregnant. The girl child weighing 2.2 kg was born at a Community Health Centre where she was brought after she complained of severe stomach pain. Following the delivery,the family lodged a complaint with the police that their daughter was sexually exploited in the school. The Police said that a case has not yet been registered but an investigation is on and they were waiting for the girl to recover in order to record her statement.
