BSF apprehends 7 Bangladeshi nationals in separate operations in different parts of Tripura
A Bangladeshi national was apprehended near the Anandpur Border Out Post (BOP), under Sonamura police station of Sepahijala District in Tripura.

Border Security Force (BSF) personnel foiled a series of infiltration attempts and apprehended seven Bangladeshi nationals in different parts of the state on Saturday amidst the festivities for Durga Puja and Bijoya Dashami.
A BSF Public Relations Officer (PRO) informed that BSF troops deployed in the area of Shyampara Border Out Post (BOP) in Sabroom, South Tripura district, apprehended four Bangladeshi nationals based on a tip-off while they were attempting to cross the border fencing.
All four apprehended Bangladeshi nationals were residents of Chattogram District, Bangladesh, the PRO stated.
Meanwhile, a Bangladeshi national was apprehended near the Anandpur Border Out Post (BOP), under Sonamura police station of Sepahijala District, in a separate operation based on specific information today.
In this second case, the arrested individual was found in possession of 3,600 Bangladeshi currency and Rs 3,000 in Indian currency.
The apprehended Bangladeshi national was identified as a resident of Dhaka.
In a third operation, BSF troops apprehended two Bangladeshi illegal immigrants at Dharmanagar in North Tripura District and near Sabroom Border Out Post (BOP) in South Tripura, respectively, with Rs 5,540 in Indian currency in their possession.
They were identified as residents of Dhaka and Comilla District, Bangladesh, respectively.
