(File image)As poll battle intensifies with merely a day to go for Bihar Assembly Elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi takes a swipe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and says, “two prices roaming in Bihar, including one from Delhi who has been insulting ‘Chhathi Maiya’. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah of indulging in “vote chori” in Bihar, claiming they were doing so out of fear that the NDA would lose the ongoing Assembly elections. Addressing a rally in Aurangabad, he alleged that the Prime Minister wants the youth to stay occupied making social media reels instead of questioning the government, and said the INDIA bloc, if voted to power, would form a government representing the extremely backward, socially marginalised, and Dalit communities.
Apart from that, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that 3.6 crore people in Bihar will received free health insurance of up to Rs 5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Addressing a poll rally in the state, he also announced that an IT park will be set up in Darbhanga to generate employment opportunities for the youth. “People from Mithila, Koshi, Tirhut need not go to Patna, Delhi for treatment, they will get facilities at AIIMS-Darbhanga,” he said.
