Amid rising tensions between the two rival powers — Israel and Iran — the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Friday asked all Indian citizens to not travel to the two countries until further notice. Given the situation, the citizens have been urged to take precautions about their safety and restrict movements to the minimum.

Here’s how an Indian citizen in Iran or Israel can complete the registration process:
IRAN
Soon after the advisory was issued, the Indian Embassy in Iran released the link to the registration form via a post on social media platform X.
Fill in personal details, current address details, address in India and other details, and information regarding ‘Dependent/Family Members (in same place)
Uploading a scanned copy of the citizen’s passport is not mandatory, as per the form specifications.
Details to be filled in: Passport number, name (as per passport), mobile number with country code, place in Israel, profession, state in India, and details of additional dependent family members if any.
