Monsoons can be a relief on sunny days when the heat is unbearable. But when rains become a daily trend, not many would be up for enjoying the weather. Those who travel daily, find it a task to keep themselves dry or even not getting their belongings drenched. Underprivileged school kids find it even more difficult to sustain in the rain, in the absence of the rain gear, as they struggle to protect their schoolbags, books etc from the nasty rains. Culture Machine- The Digital Video Entertainment Company’s channel Blush along with Designer Anuj Sharma (NID graduate) from Button Masala launched a new video featuring these innocent kids who are unable to bear with the monsoon trauma while going to school. The video features a man who teaches the poor children, who cannot afford to buy rain gear, to make raincoats from everyday items like rubber bands and buttons. The tutorial touches the lives of these underprivileged children and conveys a potent message to the society that one should make the most out of the least that we have.
