The historical drama series Shogun, created by Rachel Kondo and Justin Marks and led this year’s nominations with an impressive 25 nods, has won the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series.

In another victory for the American historical drama Shogun, which entered the 76th Emmy Awards with an impressive 25 nominations, Anna Sawai has been awarded Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

In its fourth win today, Netflix's Baby Reindeer has won the award for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series. Created by Richard Gadd, the show stars Gadd himself, Jessica Gunning, Nava Mau and Tom Goodman-Hill in key roles.

American screenwriter, producer and director of film and television Greg Berlanti was presented with the Governors Award at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday. The accolade was presented in honour of his profound impact on television and culture through his portrayal of underrepresented groups in film.

Continuing its impressive run from the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, the acclaimed psychological comedy-drama series The Bear has already claimed its fourth award. Now, Christopher Storer was recognised with the Emmy for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series.

Earlier in the day, the show had also won in the categories of Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series (Jeremy Allen White), Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series (Liza Colón-Zayas), and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (Ebon Moss-Bachrach).

Baby Reindeer's Richard Gadd has bagged the Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. This is the psychological black comedy-drama thriller series' second win today after Jessica Gunning took home the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.

In the Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series category, Slow Horses' Will Smith has emerged victorious. The spy thriller television series stars Gary Oldman, Jack Lowden, Kristin Scott Thomas and Jonathan Pryce in the lead roles.

Actor Lamorne Morris has won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for his performance in the black comedy-crime drama series Fargo.

He triumphed in a highly competitive category, besting Jonathan Bailey (Fellow Travelers), Robert Downey Jr. (The Sympathizer), Tom Goodman-Hill (Baby Reindeer), John Hawkes (True Detective: Night Country), Lewis Pullman (Lessons in Chemistry), and Treat Williams (Feud: Capote vs The Swans).

The Emmy for Outstanding Talk Series has been bagged by Comedy Central's The Daily Show, created by Madeleine Smithberg and Lizz Winstead. 

In the Directing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie category, Ripley's Steven Zaillian emerged victorious, making this his first Emmy win.

Lucia Aniello, Paul W Downs and Jen Statsky have won the Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for their work on the comedy-drama Hacks. Earlier today, Jean Smart from the same show had won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

In the Writing for a Variety Special category, stand-up comedian Alex Edelman achieved victory with his show Alex Edelman: Just for Us. This is his first Emmy win.

The American late-night talk Last Week Tonight with John Oliver has won the Outstanding Scripted Variety Series award. The show has so far received 67 nominations and has won 29 awards overall.

She triumphed in a competitive category that included nominees like Dakota Fanning (Ripley), Lily Gladstone (Under the Bridge), Aja Naomi King (Lessons in Chemistry), Diane Lane (Feud: Capote vs. The Swans), Nava Mau (Baby Reindeer) and Kali Reis (True Detective: Night Country).

The reality competition series The Traitors, presented by Alan Cumming, has won the award for Outstanding Reality Competition Program.

Legendary actor Jean Smart has earned another Primetime Emmy, winning Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Hacks. This marks her sixth Emmy overall and her second win in this category for Hacks, following her 2022 victory.

The Crown's Elizabeth Debicki has been named the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, making this her first Emmy win.

In another significant victory for The Bear, actor Liza Colón-Zayas has won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, bringing the show's total awards for the night to three.

Actor Billy Crudup took home the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his performance in The Morning Show. This marks his second win in the category, following his 2020 victory.

The psychological comedy-drama series The Bear kicked off its winning streak by securing the first award of the night. In a major triumph, actor Ebon Moss-Bachrach won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, marking his second consecutive win in this category. The award was presented by Only Murders in the Building stars Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez.
