Akshay Kumar was supposed to promote his upcoming film SkyForce on the Bigg Boss Grand Finale set. However, the actor left without shooting his segment. Akshay’s co-star, Veer Pahariya, ended up shooting the segment alone. Addressing the situation on the show, Salman Khan said,  “Akki (Akshay Kumar) is also in the film. I got a little late, and he had to leave for another function, so he left.” 

Karanveer Mehra was asked about comparisons with Sidharth Shukla after his exit from the Bigg Boss house. The BB18 winner said, "Bahut acha ladka tha wo. Mera dost tha. Humne kaafi zyada time spend nahi kiya but we knew each other very well. Main khush hu ki mujhe ussey compare kiya jaa raha hai. Wo dil ka bahut bada insaan tha (He was a nice guy and my friend. We didn't spend much time together, but we knew each other very well. I am happy to be compared with him. He was a kind-hearted man)." 

After defeating Vivian Dsena to win the Bigg Boss trophy, Karanveer Mehra spoke about his 12-year friendship with Vivian in an interview with SCREEN. Referring to their disagreements on the show as a "lover's spat," he said, “We had a lover’s spat on the show, actually both of our definitions of friendship are very different. He thought of me as a dearer friend and I was coming from a space where I thought he was getting things very easily. But now it’s a 100-day friendship.”

Karanveer Mehra spoke about his Bigg Boss win to SCREEN. He said, “I share this trophy with all those who have voted and loved me and of course the media who I have not paid.” He also added that he dedicated his victory to all the fans and friends who supported him tirelessly. “I have gotten used to winning, I want to have a hat-trick now. During a conversation with SCREEN after winning the trophy, Karanveer shared his low and high moments in the Bigg Boss house. He said, “The task where I lifted Edin or trimmed Rajat’s beard were my high points. The low point was the roast I did with Vivian, I should have avoided that.”
