Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and American singer Katy Perry appeared to have confirmed recent dating rumours after the duo were reportedly spotted kissing on a yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California, photos of which have gone viral on social media, Daily Mail reported. The viral pictures show Perry, 40, in a one-piece swimsuit on the deck, while Trudeau, 53, was seen wearing a pair of jeans. The couple could be seen cuddling and embracing each other in one of the photos on board Perry’s 24-metre yacht, the Caravelle. Perry had announced her split with Bloom at that time with whom she shared a 5-year-old daughter Daisy Dove Bloom. Meanwhile, Trudeau separated from his wife Sophie Grégoire in 2023 after 18 years of marriage. Trudeau has three children with Grégoire, sons Xavier, 17, and Hadrien, 11, and daughter Ella-Grace, 16. However, both Perry and Trudeau have refused to comment on their relationship status, reports stated. A witness quoted by the Daily Mail said, “She pulled up her boat next to a small public whale-watching boat, then they started making out.” The witness added, “I didn’t realize who she was with until I saw the tattoo on the guy’s arm, and I immediately realized it was Justin Trudeau.” Trudeau was also spotted at Perry’s Lifetime Tour at Montreal’s Bell Centre, two days after the rumoured couple were seen together for a meal in Montreal. Trudeau stepped down after being the prime minister of Canada for a decade earlier this year.
