Hulk Hogan Death Live Updates: Wife Sky Daily slammed health rumours days before his death; ‘he is not in coma’

Jake Paul remembered his time with Hulk Hogan and said, “Always appreciated your kind words and encouragement. Hulk Hogan brought WWE to the masses globally. Rest easy,” he wrote via X.

Sharing a throwback photo with Hulk Hogan, Brooke Shields wrote, "Rest easy, Hulk. This moment and his entire guest episode on ‘Suddenly Susan’ was a true highlight. Sending love to all of his loved ones today.”

He was a trailblazer, the first performer who transitioned from being a wrestling star into a global phenomenon. His grit and unbridled thirst for success were unparalleled -- and made him the consummate performer. He gave everything he had to the audience whom he appreciated, respected and loved."

A statement posted on Hulk Hogan's Instagram handle read, "It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we confirm we have lost a legend. Our beloved Terry Bollea, known worldwide as Hulk Hogan, passed away today surrounded by his loved ones. At this time of grief, we ask that everyone please respect the privacy of his family and friends. May we all take solace in the wonderful memories he left behind for the millions of fans worldwide whose lives he touched for more than four decades. He will be missed, but never forgotten."

Wrestler The Miz said via X, "When I was a kid I ate my vitamins, said my prayers because Hulk Hogan told me to. He was someone I looked up to; a larger-than-life presence I copied constantly growing up. The voice,  flexing, charisma, he made you want to be bold, loud, confident. RIP, Hulk Hogan."

Hulk Hogan has starred in movies like Rocky III (1982), No Holds Barred (1989), Gremlins 2: The New  Batch (1990), Suburban Commando (1991), Mr Nanny (1993), Thunder in Paradise (1995) and Santa with Muscles (1996).

Donald Trump Jr took to X and shared a photo with Hulk Hogan. The wrestler was a staunch support of US president Donald Trump.

Hulk Hogan is survived by his wife, Sky Hogan, and his children Brooke and Nick Hogan from his marriage to Linda Hogan. He was married to Jennifer McDaniel from 2010 to 2021.

Former wrestler John Layfield posted on X, "One of the reasons I got into wrestling. Hulk was always so nice to me and was the one celebrity that wanted to see all the kids I brought over from Bermuda. RIP legend. There will never be another. Hulkamania never dies."

Hulk Hogan's representative Linda Bose told CBS News, "Unfortunately we must confirm that Terry Bollea, aka Hulk Hogan passed away this morning. We are heartbroken. He was such a great human being and friend."

Retired wrestler Jake "the Snake" Roberts posted on X "It’s hard to put into words what Terry “Hulk Hogan” Bollea meant to professional wrestling and entertainment. He may be gone, but his memory and legacy will live forever. 

WWE mourned the passing of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan. A post on its official X handle read, "WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans."

According to TMZ, medics rushed to Hulk Hogan's residence in Clearwater, Florida. Police told the publication that officials responded to the call at 9:51 am and Hogan was treated by Clearwater Fire and Rescue personnel before being taken to a nearby hospital. The wrestler was pronounced dead at the hospital. 

American wrestler Hulk Hogan died on Thursday. His cause of death is said to be cardiac arrest. The 71-year-old wrestler died at his Florid home.
