Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, meanwhile, were named the Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress, respectively, in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for their performances in the Netflix comedy-drama television miniseries Beef, created by Lee Sung Jin. Beef clinched five Emmys this year.

The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards bore significant importance for Hollywood, occurring nearly four months later than originally planned due to strikes involving both actors and writers.
The ceremony was broadcast from the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. In India, the award ceremony was live-streamed on Lionsgate Play, starting at 6.30 am on January 16. The event was hosted by comedian Anthony Anderson and featured presenters like Pedro Pascal, Juno Temple, Jenna Ortega and Stephen Colbert among others.
The nominees for the prestigious awards were announced on July 12 last year and include the standout TV that premiered from June 1, 2022, to May 31, 2023, the eligibility period for this year’s awards.
