She has a sugar daddy. Her father must pay for everything’. But my father works in a government job. He has not travelled beyond Manali.” She added that if she shares pictures and videos while she is a travelling with a man, people often assume that he must be paying for it, or they have a sexual relationship.
“And if I am travelling with a guy then they say ‘he is 100 percent f**king her, paying for her trip’. But he also earns via Instagram and I am also earning via Instagram. He has 50k followers. How will he pay for me?” She currenty has over 2.7 million followers on Instagram. She was then asked if women are hated more on social media, she said, “Yeah, but I don’t want to say that women are hated more because then I will become a feminist who is talking about it and then I will get more hate.”
Apoorva was one of the judges on India’s Got Talent, along with Ranveer Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh. The objectionable episode of the show was taken down by YouTube India. Soon afterwards, Samay Raina deleted all the episodes of the show and shared that he extend his cooperation with the authorities. He shared a note on Instagram that read, “Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you.”
Apoorva Mukhija appeared before the Mumbai police on Wednesday responding to a police summons. She was allowed to leave after she gave her statement.
