The iconic “choti bacchi ho kya” dialogue from Tiger Shroff’s movie Heropanti sparked a wave of memes on social media. Similarly, Akshay Kumar’s Hera Pheri memes have been an online sensation, dominating meme culture. Now, with both stars set to appear in the film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, they shared their thoughts on the importance of meme culture for today’s generation.
On Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, Akshay and Tiger were asked about their thoughts on the meme culture. Akshay said, “I find it very funny. But there are so many memes, especially Hera Pheri memes.”
Akshay then discussed the ‘woke culture’ and how there are less comedy films being made. “Comedies will come back. This and next year, they will come back. I am doing two or three comedy films myself,” he said. Akshay said that he finds it weird when people don’t understand comedy and added that they should understand how he is just playing a character. Tiger also discussed the famous ‘choti bachi ho kya‘ meme and said, “I don’t know how that got picked up. It was crazy.”
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar and also stars Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya F in pivotal roles. The film will be released in theatres on April 10.
