SRK rang in his birthday by greeting a humungous crowd who had stationed outside his residence, Mannat, for one glimpse of the star. SRK not only bowed down to his fans but also did his trademark pose, as the crowd went gaga.
Not only this, but SRK also gave a birthday gift to his fans by releasing his recent hit film, Jawan on Netflix. The actor said about Jawan’s release, Speaking about the release of Jawan on Netflix on his birthday, Shah Rukh Khan said, “I’m absolutely thrilled that Jawan is now streaming worldwide on Netflix, in its uncut, extended version! Jawan’s journey from script to screen has been nothing short of phenomenal and I can’t wait for fans around the world to watch Jawan with their families. At the fan meet, filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani shared the time he saw Shah Rukh Khan for the first time. He said, "I used to study at a film institute and I used to wonder, ‘I am graduating from here, but who would work with me?’ I used to look at big stars like Bachchan sahab and think, ‘Why would a star like him work with me?’ So, one day, in my hostel’s TV room, I was watching Circus. In a particular scene, a young actor was performing at a platform. It was a big monologue. I thought, ‘Who is this guy? This is so wonderful. He is not a big actor. I can take him in my film after I graduate.'"
Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki director Rajkumar Hirani was surprised to see the turnout at the actor's fan-event. He said, “It’s heartwarming to see so much affection. Film release hogi…ye toh vaise hi houseful lag raha hai (The film already seems to be houseful). Thank you so much for showering so much love on Shah Rukh and Dunki.”

During the fan event, Shah Rukh Khan expressed confidence in Dunki. He said, "Shah Rukh also revealed that he saw Dunki a few days ago and he is confident that the audience will love his film. He said, “When you see the next few pieces of the film, you will feel happy. I saw the film a few days back. I feel happy when the people around who sit with me to watch the film feel happy with the film and in this film I can sense that everyone from all ages will like it.”
Shah Rukh Khan told fans that Dunki teaser's length was kept short deliberately. "We haven’t shown a lot in the teaser. Slowly we will reveal Drop 2 and Drop 3. Raju sir (Rajkumar Hirani) and I were clear that we first wanted to show the world of our film. What am I doing in the film, what Taapsee is doing – this all will be introduced later. Speaking about mein film main mein kya kar raha hu? Kaafi aacha kar raha hu yaar. (I am doing quiet well in the film).”
Shah Rukh Khan praised his Dunki director Rajkumar Hirani and said, 'The most beautiful thing about Raju sir’s films is that there is no lead actor in his films. The story in his films is the lead. Of course, I am the hero in the film. I will dance, romance, sing in the film. I am romancing after years in a film. The romance is so beautiful in Dunki.'
At the fan event, Shah Rukh Khan said, "We were making the film from 2-2.5 years and today we are showing its first glimpse, its first drop. We are also cool now so we call it a ‘drop’. So, Dunki Drop 1 has arrived and we will keep sharing glimpses of the film.”
