Rhea Chakraborty admits she hasn’t forgiven everyone after being vilified post Sushant Singh Rajput’s death: ‘Some people are on my hit list’

Rhea Chakraborty also admitted that she hasn’t forgiven everyone. “Having said that, if I am being completely honest, I have not forgiven everybody. Some people are on my hit list. If so happens that my life takes me to a place where I am not powerless, and I gather the power and social influence required to make things right, I will.”

The Chehre actor, who was dating Sushant Singh Rajput at the time, was arrested in September 2020 on charges of procuring drugs for him but was granted bail after spending 28 days in Byculla jail. Reflecting on the incessant social media trolling she has faced since Sushant’s death and how she has learned to ignore it, the actor said, “The most famous people in the world today are the most trolled people. I still get trolled. They call me names like chudail, kaala jaadu karne waali, naagin etc, but I really don’t care. It used to upset me earlier and I would wonder… why don’t they like me?! What did I do? Then I realised there is just hate in their hearts, and that’s their problem. But, trolls are fine, at least they increase my comments.”

Chakraborty is rumoured to be dating entrepreneur Nikhil Kamath and the two were recently spotted together on a bike ride in Mumbai. Talking about her marriage plans, she said, “First of all, there is no right age for marriage. I am at the stage where I don’t even want to get married. Why does one need to get married? Why should this pressure be on women only? Men don’t feel this pressure. In terms of the biological clock, you can just freeze your eggs. I don’t think a man or becoming anyone’s wife can fulfil you.”

Rhea Chakraborty recently ventured into entrepreneurship with the launch of her own apparel brand. She is also hosting a podcast that has featured guests such as Sushmita Sen and Aamir Khan.
